Are these oils interchangeable in products? Can fragrance oils go in lip balm, for example?

    Or are fragrances stronger?

No, fragrance oils are not lip safe. Only skin safe. Fragrance oils are designed to be used in lotions, creams, soap and room/body sprays.

Flavor oils have smell and taste components but you wouldn't want to use it in a lotion. You could use them in massage oils designed for personal use.

Some essential oils can be used in lip products but not all of them. You will need to read the description we have in the catalog for each individual essential oil.

Strength of odor depends on the oil. Peppermint will always be stronger than Vanilla. This is the case whether you are working with essential oils or fragrance oil. Odor strength will vary case by case.

Thanks. I started learning about and using essential oils about a year ago, but am not familiar with fragrance or flavor oils yet (except for peppermint).
